Our club policies including safeguarding procedures and respect are found below:
Child Safeguarding Policy
Designated safeguarding lead on site at all
sessions. Any concerns are handled promptly
and with the utmost discretion.
Equality & Inclusion Policy
Discrimination of
any kind will not be tolerated within our club.
Financial Inclusion Policy
Westwood United FC operates a confidential
bursary scheme to support families facing
financial hardship. No child will be excluded
from playing due to an inability to pay
registration fees or kit costs. Speak to us in
confidence.
Photography & Media Policy
Photographs and videos of children taken at
training sessions or fixtures will only be
shared publicly with prior written consent from
a parent or guardian. Images will never be
shared without appropriate permissions in
place.
Code of Conduct
We expect all players, parents, and
supporters to uphold a positive and respectful
attitude at all times. Aggressive behaviour,
abusive language, or bullying — on or off the
pitch — will result in disciplinary action in line
with FA guidelines.
Health, Safety & First Aid
A qualified first aider is present at all sessions.
Parents must disclose any relevant medical
conditions at the point of registration.
Emergency contact details are kept on record
and are accessible to coaches at all times.
Data Protection Policy
All personal data collected during registration
is stored securely and used solely for the
purposes of club administration. We comply
with UK GDPR requirements
Coaching Standards Policy
All coaches operate in line with FA coaching
standards and child welfare requirements. Our
lead coach holds relevant FA qualifications
and completes regular CPD to ensure
